Membership Requirements 

The principal applicant & all unsupervised valuers will:

• Have a registered Australian business
• Hold professional indemnity insurance
• Satisfy the AJVG that you have more than three years prior experience in jewellery and gemstone related industries. 
• Hold a recognised diploma in gemmology, diamond grading or equivalent
• Be competent in jewellery & personal property valuation writing 
• Have completed the AJVG valuation course or other reputable valuers association courses. 

Membership Fees

Annual Fees - $349.00AUD 

To be eligible for ongoing membership, our members are required to show evidence of ongoing training and education either with the AJVG or with a recognized jewellery or gemological school.
